Interpretation

Words with initial capitals have meanings defined below. The definitions apply whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

  • Application means the Sync School Events software.
  • Application Store means Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Affiliate means an entity under common control with a party.
  • Country refers to the United Kingdom.
  • Company (“we”, “us”, “our”) refers to Sync School Events.
  • Device means any device that can access the Service.
  • Service refers to the Application.
  • Terms means these Terms of Service.
  • Third-party Social Media Service means services or content provided by a third party that may be available through the Service.
  • You means the individual or legal entity using the Service.

Acknowledgment

These Terms govern your use of the Service and form a binding agreement between you and the Company. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You represent that you are over 18. Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately and without notice for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

In any case, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid through the Service, or USD 100 if no purchases were made.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Your use may also be subject to other local or international laws.

EU consumers will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country of residence.

United States Legal Compliance

Severability and Waiver

Severability

If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to achieve its intent to the maximum extent permitted; the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Translation

If we provide a translation of these Terms, the English version controls in case of conflict.
